Preparatory education at the City University of New York, Queens College graduating in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. Honor Roll and Dean's List, graduated Cum Laude.
Legal education Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles, California receiving a Juris Doctor Degree in 1982. Admitted to practice California and Florida in 1985.
Self-employed real estate development and property management in the State of Florida in 1983 through 1985.
Mr. Lazar has been a senior associate at the law firm of Ginsburg, Stephen, Oringher & Richmond, formerly Wood, Lucksinger & Epstein, for six years as a litigator handling cases in the numerous areas of civil litigation. Mr. Lazar has tried numerous jury trial cases as well as many arbitrations, including matters in which the firm represented the Regents of the University of California.
Mr. Lazar is a member of the California Bar Association, the Florida State Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has lectured at various legal seminars. In addition, he has delivered lectures to the medical staffs of hospitals and medical groups.
Mr. Lazar joined the firm of MARLIN & SALTZMAN in March, 1993 as an associate. In April, 2006 he was named a principal.
