Preparatory education at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, with joint honors in political science and history. Diploma of Collegial Studies awarded in 1972. Bachelor of Arts degree not awarded due to having been accepted into law school prior to completion of undergraduate program.
Legal education commenced at the University of Montreal Law School, where Mr. Saltzman was awarded the Bachelor of Civil Laws degree. Top ten percent of class, in a program of classes conducted entirely in French. Legal education continued at Southwestern University School of Law. Juris Doctorate degree received in 1979. Top ten percent of graduating class. American Juris Prudence Award in California Civil Procedure.
Mr. Saltzman became a member of the California Bar and the United States District Court, Central District of California in December of 1979. Since that time, his practice has been devoted to civil litigation representation. Since 1985, Mr. Saltzman has been a principal with MARLIN & SALTZMAN, with an emphasis in class actions and complex litigation matters. Mr. Saltzman has successfully litigated numerous civil actions, complex litigation, class actions and related matters.
Mr. Saltzman is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles.
