Corey S. Smith
Associate Attorney
Corey Smith’s innate desire to help others led him to pursue a career as an attorney. During his time at the Pepperdine University School of Law, Corey became heavily involved in advocating for others. As part of the law school’s Global Justice Program in New Delhi, India, Corey lectured on practical advocacy skills and litigation techniques. He also helped prepare and file U-Visas in the school’s Asylum & Refugee Clinic, and held an office in various advocacy-focused student groups, such as the International Law Society, the Students’ Animal Legal Defense Fund, the LGBT Legal Society, and the Jewish Legal Society.
After graduating from law school, Corey practiced law at a boutique insurance defense firm, where he engaged in all aspects of the pre-trial litigation process.
Corey joined Marlin & Saltzman to actualize his dream of using his law degree to help others. As a classically trained musician, Corey applies precision and attention to detail to his law practice.
